Learn to play a new tempo 7/8 and learn to play Mandira Hijaz

Hello my name is Tare Al Jundi from izif.com. today in lesson number 13 we will learn something new which is the Turkish 7/8 scale called Doltoran, and we have an application on this scale which is Mandira Hijaz, which is a dance on Hijaz scale.
We are used to reading scales with even numerators, 2/4 , 4/4, 6/8, we also read 10/8 which was a composite and large scale but with a slow tempo. This 7/8 scale is a fast and rickety scale, I will show it to you with a quick tempo and then I will try to play it slowly *Play*, those are the first 3 bars . if we want to play slower, it has a denominator of 8, which means that the first beat or first note will be consist of 2 beats , for example 1 2 1 2 1 2 3 1 2 1 2 1 2 3 1 2 1 2 1 2 3 down down down up down. This is the form of the pick that we should practice before entering the piece, then play faster. It will become *Play* Dum Dum Ta Ta Ta Dum Dum Ta Ta Ta Dum Dum Ta Ta Ta Dum Dum Ta Ta Ta Dum Dum Ta Ta Ta Dum Dum *Play* Down Down Down Up Down Down Down up Down *Play*
This scale can initially be practiced using a scale like Hijaz *Play* I will mess up the pick at first, but let us continue, maybe a bit slower *Play* as you can see we have 2 groups, the first group has Ta Ta which consists of 4 beats, then we have 3 beats Ta Ta Ta, so it is basically 1 2 3 4 1 2 3 1 2 3 4 1 2 3 1 2 3 4 1 2 3.
