The seventh lesson is a comprehensive exercise of all the previous lessons and information learned. It focuses on the Es TiFi and other applications related to the positioning and stability of the left hand fingers. This exercise is considered to be very important because it is a revision of the important concepts and skills acquired so far.

Hello my name is Tareq AL Jundi from i3zif.com.. today in lesson #7 we will learn a comprehensive application on es tifi and will relate it to an exercise for the pick. Let us try to read it. Most importantly, as written here my hand has to hold the Do and Mi, es … es Do Mi Sol Mi,the first bar.. the second bar is Sol La Sol .. the third bar es Do Mi Sol Mi Sol Mi es tifi ta fa tifi.. the fourth bar ta fa tifi ta, down up down up down, like this. Next es.. Si La Sol Fa Sol Fa #, es.. here Fa is ♮ again.. es, same thing , fa should be held, es.. next ta fa tifi ta fa tifi tati ta.. this is the first part of the exercise. The second part of the exercise, we have Do Si La Si Do Si La Si Do Si La Sol Fa Mi Re Do.. let us try to play it.. then we have Si La Sol La SI La Sol La Si La Sol Fa Mi Re Do Si.. then we have La Sol Fa # Sol , La Sol Fa Sol, La Sol Fa Mi Re Do Si La.. then we have an ascending scale from Si to Mi, Si DO Re Mi Fa Sol La Si Do Re Mi Re Do. The last line, Do Si La Do , sequence Si La Sol Si , La Sol Fa La, Sol Fa Mi Sol, note the down and up, Fa Mi Re Fa, Mi Re Do Mi, Re Si Do . this way we have dissected each part of the exercise. Let us try to play it with the metronome, from the top es tifi tati es tifi tati.. this way we have played the comprehensive exercise and used the es tifi. I want to note one thing, let us go back to a very important part , Do Si La So Do Si La Si. Notice how my fingers are stable, Do Si La Sol Fa Mi Re Do, the transformation to Si La Sol La, then Si La Sol Fa Mi Re Do Si.. from Si to La.. the least amount of transfer, I don’t do .. this is wrong, now repeat Si La Sol Fa Mi Re Do Si La Sol Fa Sol La Sol ♮Fa, then the ascending scale, with all the pick moves are down up. The last sequence, Do Si La Do Do Si La Do, then , Si La Sol Si. I start from the first note and play it over and over. The last line is very important. This exercise is very important to practice and dissect each phrase alone and play it. Practice very well and I will see you in the next lesson.
