Hello my name is Tareq Al Jundi from i3zif.com. today in lesson no. 12 we will learn an exercise for the pick based on the ta tifi. Look at the first bar, we find Moderato which means medium speed, a scale of 4/4 . we have ta tifi ta tifi ta tifi ta, same pattern is repeated in the 2nd ,3,4,5and 6th bar etc… the second bar starts with Re : ta tifi ta tifi ta tifi ta, let us read it with the metronome and see , the ta tifi is down down up , 4 : Do Re Mi Do Re Mi Do , Re Mi Fa Re Mi Fa Re Mi Fa Re, Mi Fa Sol Mi Fa Sol Mi Fa Sol Mi, Fa Sol La Fa Sol La Fa Sol La Fa, Sol La Si Sol La SI Sol La Si Sol, La Si Do La Si Do La Si Do La, Si Do Re Si Do Re Si Do Re Si, Do Re Mi Do Re Mi Do Re Mi Do, again : Do Re Mi Do Re Mi Do Re Mi Do, Si Do Re SI Do Re SI Do Re SI, La Si Do La Si DO La SI DO La, Sol La SI Sol La Si Sol La Si Sol, Fa Sol La Fa Sol Fa Sol Fa Sol La Fa, Mi Fa Sol Mi Fa Sol Mi Fa Sol Mi, Re Mi Fa Re Mi Fa Re Mi Fa Re, DO Re Mi DO Re Mi DO Re Mi Do. Do not forget that the ta tifi down down up, 3 4 , Do holds, Mi Fa Sol, notice the stability of the fingers, Si, Do, this the first part of the exercise, now down to Si, Sol . this is the exercise for the pick that is based on ta tifi, the goal is to increase speed gradually to reach this form … when we want to increase the speed of this exercise we have to maintain a correct movement of hands and pick. We need to add this exercise to our daily warm up exercises which I hope we can do even for only 15 minutes on daily basis, and you will notice the difference with time.
